How do I configure SalesX?
Setup -> Application Configuration.
You can configure the database server, Everest server and folder related
information. After installation of SalesX, the Application
Configuration Form is displayed automatically.
How do I create login account in SalesX?
Setup -> Application configuration -> Set eBay User Credentials.
Create a Seller on eBay.com based on the environment (Sandbox/Production).
Enter the eBay® Username, click launch sign in button, enter the login credentials in the opened window. Click sign in. Click fetch token button. Enter the salesx login information and click verify and save.
SalesX Login information will be used to login to SalesX.
What is difference between sandbox and production environment?
Sandbox is the testing
environment. The Sandbox duplicates the functionality that is on the eBay.com
Web site. The Production
environment is the real eBay.com.
How do I change the look and feel of the application?
Setup -> Font and Configuration.
With the help of this built-in feature the user can personalize
the appearance of the application.
How do I upload item onto eBay.com through SalesX?
Tools -> Item -> Item Manager
The items are uploaded through the Item Manager.
Select the item from the Category.
Click the Edit button and set the attributes: Listing Type, Payment and Shipment details etc.
Click Save.
Click Refresh.
Select the item and click Upload.
How do I Upload Multiple item onto eBay.com through SalesX?
Tools -> Prepare Items for Upload
Select the category and the items.
Click Next.
A new window will open. Set the common attributes and

This synchronizes the live data in eBay.com with SalesX.

How do I check the listing fee for listing an item in eBay.com?
The listing fee for a particular item can be checked by traversing the following menu
options: Tools -> Item -> Item Manager, select a Category.
The user may view the listing Fee for a particular item through the listing
fee column.
How do I check the item status in eBay.com through SalesX?
Tools -> Uploaded Items
The status of an item such as selling, sold or unsold can be checked using
the Status field. Select a specific date range.
How do I check the bidder list for an item?
Tools -> Get bidders
Select the Everest item and the auction and click the Get All Bidders button.
How do I import the eBay.com transactions into Everest?
Tools -> Transaction
Select a specific date range.
The sold items can be imported into the Everest as Sales Order.
Select a transaction from the Transaction List. Click the Create Sales Order Button.
How do I identify an eBay.com transaction in Everest?
The Sales Orders created in Everest from SalesX can be identified using the reference field.
The reference fields hold the auction id for which the sales order is created.

What is Chinese listing and Dutch listing?
Chinese Listing:
A single item can be offered for sale. The BIN Price must be
greater than or equal to both the reserve price and the start
price. The Reserve Price must be greater than start price and
less then BIN Price. The winning bidder with the highest bid
gets the item.
Dutch Listing:
Two or more items can be offered for sale. The Reserve Price
and BIN price is not applicable for Dutch Listing. The winning
bidders are the bidders with the highest bids when the listing
ends, based on the number of items offered compared to the
quantity for which each bidder bids.
What is eBay® Suggested Categories?
eBay.com allows buyers to search categories for any specific keywords or
items. A seller in this context can set a maximum two categories for each item that
is intended to be auctioned on eBay.com.
What is Pending Items List?
This option is used to upload the items which are prepared for uploading through
Prepare Item for Upload process. This will directly upload the
items to eBay.com for Auctioning with the item specific details.
What is the use of Payment and Shipment grouping?
This feature provides the user to group the specific shipping/payment methods under
a user defined group. This helps the user to work on a limited set of
shipments/payments that are used in the Prepare Items for Upload section.
What is Item Scheduling?
Tools -> Item -> Item Manager
An item can be scheduled for auction for a later date and time.
The listings become active on the eBay.com at a later date and time.
This can be done by setting the date in the Scheduled Date tab
of the item attributes window.
What is Error List?
This feature is used to list the error details which occur while uploading
items onto eBay.com.
